When it comes to how many books get added to my CBR (Can’t Be Resisted) pile every month, I honestly feel like this year has seen the most additions ever.
Every single month, new romance novels come out and they’re always so tempting and absolutely amazing.
You guys know I just have to grab as many of them as I can to read.
For this post in particular, I’m sharing some of the very best and most anticipated romance novels coming out in July 2025.
If you want to stay updated on all the new romance book releases for 2025, I’ve written a whole other post just for that.
But this one right here? It’s packed with some of the absolute best.
They’re perfect for getting your summer started in the most delightful way.
Heart Marks the Spot by Libby Hubscher – July 22nd, 2025

I’m truly looking forward to this one because who can resist a romance wrapped in adventure and treasure hunting?
Stella Moore is a brave treasure hunter who dreams of finding fortune, love, and success, but nothing in life ever seems to go her way.
One summer, while searching for hidden riches in Iceland with her best friends, she meets Huck Sullivan – a charming adventure novelist – and sparks fly.
But just when things feel perfect, Huck vanishes without a goodbye. A year later, he’s suddenly back, richer and more famous than ever, and ready to join her next treasure hunt in Key West.
Can they finally face the feelings they left buried in the past? I really can’t wait to see how their story unfolds on the open sea.
To Sketch a Scandal by Jess Everlee – July 22nd, 2025

This historical romance feels like it will be such a tender and emotional journey, and I’m really excited to read it.
Set in London in 1886, the story follows Warren Bakshi, who tends bar at The Curious Fox, a secret queer club.
He has always kept to himself until an unexpected art class reunites him with Matthew Shaw, a detective whose secret desires could risk his career.
When Matthew needs help learning to sketch for his undercover mission, Warren offers private lessons and soon these lessons turn into something far more dangerous and passionate.
But with so many risks and secrets between them, can they really hope for a happy ending?
This one sounds like such a beautiful forbidden love story, full of longing and quiet courage.
The Art of Vanishing by Morgan Pager – July 1st, 2025

Honestly, this one feels like pure magic, and I can’t stop thinking about how unique and lovely it sounds.
Claire works at a museum and notices something odd about a man in a painting by Matisse. He seems almost alive.
And then she discovers the impossible: she can step right into the painting’s world and meet Jean, the man who has been trapped there since his father painted him long ago.
Together, they fall in love while wandering through beautiful, living paintings of parties, races, and seaside cliffs. But time and reality are pulling them apart.
I really hope their love can survive such impossible odds. I’m so curious to see how this story ends.
Relationship Goals by Brittany Kelley – July 8th, 2025

Abby is a Hollywood actress trying to prove she can handle serious roles.
When she meets Luke, a famous but grumpy soccer player, they start fake dating for the cameras.
But the more time they spend together, the more real everything feels until Abby finds out that Luke was forced into the fake relationship and didn’t choose her at all.
Hurt and angry, she plans to get her revenge, but Luke surprises her by standing his ground and even confessing he’s truly fallen for her.
I’m so excited to see if they can turn this messy beginning into a real, sweet love story.
Where You’re Planted by Melanie Sweeney – July 8th, 2025

This one sounds like such a warm and cozy story, and I can’t wait to read it.
Tansy is a single mom and a librarian who suddenly has to move her library into a garden shed after a hurricane destroys her building.
There, she meets Jack, a quiet and grumpy gardener who likes plants way more than people.
They don’t get along at first, but when they’re forced to work together for the spring festival, something special begins to grow between them.
But will they let their fears and old hurts get in the way, or will they take a chance on love? This gentle, enemies-to-lovers romance feels like it will be full of heart and hope.
Totally and Completely Fine by Elissa Sussman – July 8th, 2025

This book feels like it will be touching and inspiring, and I’m really looking forward to its message about healing and second chances.
Lauren is a widowed single mom who’s used to being strong for everyone else, but when she meets handsome actor Ben Walsh while her brother’s movie is being filmed, something stirs in her heart.
Ben sees her in a way no one has in years, and soon a playful fling turns into something deeper and more real.
But with Lauren’s fears, small-town gossip, and Ben’s celebrity life causing problems, can they truly make this work?
I love stories about finding love when you least expect it, and this one feels like it will be special.
Love Is a War Song by Danica Nava – July 22nd, 2025

I just love a romance where total opposites fall for each other, and this one sounds so wonderful.
Avery Fox is a pop star whose career takes a bad turn after a controversial magazine cover.
She runs away to her grandmother’s ranch to escape the mess, only to meet Lucas Iron Eyes, a grumpy cowboy who doesn’t want her there at all.
But they have to work together to save the struggling ranch, and slowly, their dislike turns into friendship and maybe more.
I can already picture the sparks flying and the slow softening of hearts. I really hope they find happiness and maybe teach each other something about life and love along the way.
The Summer You Were Mine by Jill Francis – July 1st, 2025

Ellie and Cris were childhood friends who almost fell in love fourteen years ago on the beautiful Italian coast.
Now, they’re reunited for their grandparents’ wedding, but so much has changed.
Ellie’s career is in shambles, and Cris has left professional swimming under a cloud of scandal, so they make a deal to help each other clear their names, but old feelings quickly return.
I can’t wait to see if they finally get the love they missed out on so long ago. It sounds like such a dreamy, heartfelt story set in a gorgeous place.
All the Men I’ve Loved Again by Christine Pride – July 8th, 2025

This book feels like it will be so honest and full of emotion.
Cora Belle fell in love for the first time in 1999 with Lincoln, a boy who changed everything for her.
Now, almost forty and facing a new chapter in life, she’s shocked when Lincoln comes back into her world along with another man she once loved.
Suddenly, she’s caught between the past and the present, wondering if she should follow old feelings or make a new future.
I genuinely love stories like this that explore life’s twists and turns, and I can’t wait to see how Cora finds her way to real happiness.
Where We Bloom by Kristen Proby – July 17th, 2025

I’m really looking forward to this one because I love stories where two unlikely people find each other in the most unexpected ways.
This romance is set in the peaceful Bitterroot Valley of Montana and follows Connor, a busy billionaire CEO, and Billie, a sweet bookstore owner with dreams of her own.
After one unforgettable night, they part ways without even knowing each other’s names. But fate has other plans: they meet again, only to discover that Billie is Connor’s sister’s best friend.
I find this twist so fun because it promises a mix of tension, warmth, and slow-growing love.
As they get closer, they have to decide if they can handle the pressures of their very different worlds or risk breaking apart like fragile flowers.
This promises to be a story full of charm, longing, and the kind of romance that makes your heart flutter.
The Odds of Getting Even by Amanda Sellet – July 15th, 2025

I love stories with mistaken identities and hilarious misunderstandings, and this one has plenty.
Jean, who works at a resort, meets a shy scientist named Charlie during a late-night run for towels. She thinks he’s awkward and charming and maybe a little mysterious.
But she soon finds out that Charlie has secrets, including a shocking family background he failed to mention.
When Charlie suddenly disappears, Jean isn’t about to let him off the hook. She travels all the way across the ocean to confront him at a big family event and I can’t wait to see how that showdown plays out.
This book promises laughs, surprises, and a romance full of sparks and second chances. I’m definitely excited to read it.
Let’s Make a Scene by Laura Wood – July 1st, 2025

This one feels like it’s going to be such a fun and slightly dramatic love story and I enjoy romances with old co-stars who can’t stand each other but secretly have chemistry.
Cynthie is thrilled to land her first big acting role, but the problem? Her annoying (and handsome) co-star Jack, who she can’t stand.
The studio thinks they have sizzling chemistry on screen, so they ask them to fake a relationship for publicity.
Years later, they’re both called back for a sequel and the fake romance has to happen again, this time in front of a documentary crew.
I love when old feelings start to mix with new ones and people have to figure out if what they feel is real.
I’m really curious to see if Cynthie and Jack can finally admit their true feelings or if they’ll keep pretending.
Tusk Love by Thea Guanzon – July 1st, 2025

Guinevere is a merchant’s daughter who dreams of more than just a quiet, planned life.
Her world turns upside down when her caravan is attacked and she’s saved by Oskar, a quiet and strong half-orc.
They end up traveling together, and I just know this journey will be full of tension, surprises, and maybe even a little danger.
What I really love is how different they are – Guinevere is hopeful and curious, while Oskar is gruff and distant. But slowly, they soften toward each other, and their connection begins to bloom.
I feel like this is going to be such a sweet but fiery story about choosing love and freedom over duty.
Gracie Harris Is Under Construction by Kate Hash – July 29th, 2025

This debut novel feels so heartfelt, and I can already tell it will be a moving story about second chances.
Gracie is a widow trying to heal while raising two kids. After writing a touching essay about losing her husband, she becomes famous for her reflections on grief.
But what really excites me is that Gracie decides to escape to the mountains for the summer and meets Josh, a contractor helping fix up her broken-down house.
Their unexpected friendship soon turns into something more, and this gives Gracie a chance at love again.
I really like that this book is about finding joy after loss, and I’m so curious to see if Gracie is brave enough to open her heart to this new beginning.
Overruled by Lana Ferguson – July 1st, 2025

I think this book is going to be full of sparks, and I can’t wait to see how these two lawyers handle both the courtroom and their hearts.
Danica is a top divorce lawyer who’s focused on her career and she has no time for love. But there’s one problem: she’s secretly been seeing Ezra, her rival in court.
Their chemistry is undeniable, but Danica insists it’s just physical or is it? When they end up on opposite sides of the biggest case of her career, everything gets complicated.
I really enjoy romance novels where enemies slowly become something more, and this one promises lots of tension, banter, and maybe even a sweet happily ever after.
Maid For Each Other by Lynn Painter – July 15th, 2025

Abi is a hardworking cleaner who ends up staying in her client’s fancy penthouse while he’s away only to run into his parents, who think she’s his girlfriend.
The real penthouse owner, Declan, is shocked when he finds out, but he quickly sees a chance to solve both their problems by asking Abi to pretend to be his girlfriend for a while.
I can already imagine the awkward, funny, and maybe even romantic moments that will follow.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how these two strangers become something so much more.
The Reluctant Flirt by Jennifer Probst – July 15th, 2025

I really like stories about second chances, and this one feels like it will be filled with sparks and old feelings coming back to life.
Sierra runs away to New York City after her marriage falls apart and spends one wild night with a stranger to forget her pain.
But that stranger, Kane, shows up later in her small town to play a big project that could ruin her boutique shop.
Now they’re enemies on opposite sides of a business deal, but the attraction between them is still very much alive.
I’m so curious to see if they can stop fighting and maybe fall in love for real this time. This book sounds like it will have lots of heat, drama, and heart.
How to Sell a Romance by Alexa Martin – July 15th, 2025

Emerson is a kindergarten teacher struggling with money, so she joins a beauty company to earn extra cash.
But Lucas, a reporter who wants to expose the company, runs into her at a big event and they hit it off without knowing who the other really is. When they find out the truth, things get messy fast.
What I’m really excited for is seeing how they work together to bring down the shady company while trying to resist their growing feelings.
This story promises laughs, charm, and a romance that sneaks up when they least expect it.
