I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos lately, especially now that I’ve decided to get off all social media (except Pinterest, of course and I’m really only on there because of the blog).
YouTube has literally become my second home. I’ve learned so much, watched tons of videos, and somehow found myself part of the most beautiful community of content creators ever.
Now, I don’t have plans to start a YouTube channel for the blog anytime soon (not yet, anyway), but I am thinking I might start something like a vlog, especially since I might be stepping into some new shoes as a librarian soon (more on that later).
One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of bookish YouTubers have the most amazing channel names. Some of my personal favorites are A Clockwork Reader, Books with Emily Fox, A Book Olive, and Haley Pham Vlogs.
So if you’ve been thinking of starting your own bookish YouTube channel – where you review books, give recommendations, and basically share your bookish life – then I’ve thought of some really lovely name ideas you might want to check out.

These names are beautiful, and I’ll even share why I love each one, plus give you some aesthetic recommendations to go along with them (though of course, that’s something super personal and totally up to you in the end).
But trust me, these names are so creative and charming, I think you’ll love them.
And if you haven’t quite figured out the behind-the-scenes stuff yet, don’t worry – I’m still thinking through how to set up everything myself.
I also talked to some YouTube creators and put together another post all about what to consider before starting a bookish YouTube channel.
And, there’s a downloadable checklist to help you get started on the right foot.
1. The Dog-Eared Diaries
I love this because it instantly reminds me of those beloved, creased book pages that mean one has really lived in a story.
It’s perfect if you want your channel to feel cozy, honest, and very reader-next-door rather than polished and perfect.
You’ll be that bookish friend who shares real thoughts and not just shiny reviews.
This would work so well for a relaxed, diary-style reading vlog where you chat about your recent reads, life updates, and little reflections.
And for the aesthetic, go for warm lighting, handwritten notes, coffee mugs, and maybe even soft instrumental music in the background.
2. Whispers & Paperbacks
Isn’t this dreamy? It sounds like secrets shared under moonlight with a pile of well-worn paperbacks nearby.
This name is great for someone who wants to focus on gentle, thoughtful book chats, possibly with some ASMR touches or calming read-aloud sessions.
The vibe here could be soft and mysterious – think low light, candles, moody backgrounds, whispers, and pages softly turning.
Great for a channel that makes viewers feel safe, calm, and introspective.
3. Plot Twist & Tea
Such a cute name for someone who loves unexpected endings, shocking plot twists and spilling a little tea on book tropes or drama.
This is perfect if your channel will be full of juicy hot takes, spicy unpopular opinions, or fun bookish gossip.
I’d totally lean into a bright, fun aesthetic here – bold colors, funky fonts, dramatic facial expressions in thumbnails, and lots of cozy tea mug shots.
The vibe is playful, witty, and full of energy.
4. In Between Chapters
There’s something beautifully human about this one – it feels like a reminder that life itself happens in between the chapters of books.
This name would fit a lifestyle-reading vlog hybrid, where you talk books but also your personal life, hobbies, journaling, and quiet reflections.
Your aesthetic here could be soft pastels, neutral tones, nature walks, slow-living vibes – maybe even montages of quiet mornings, coffee brewing, and you reading on the couch.
5. Shelf Indulgence
A little cheeky, right? I love this one because it suggests a guilty pleasure in book buying, collecting, and hoarding, which, let’s be real, is every book lover’s truth.
And it’s perfect for a book haul channel, bookshelf tours, and book shopping vlogs.
The vibe should be playful maximalism. Books everywhere, cute chaotic stacks, bright lighting, fun editing with sound effects.
6. The Velvet Bookmark
This one sounds elegant and timeless – like something you’d find embroidered on a fancy Victorian book.
It’s ideal if you want your channel to feel classy, aesthetic, and a little mysterious.
Maybe you love classics, dark academia, or historical fiction.
Dark wood, velvet textures, golden hour lighting, old libraries, flickering candles, vintage dresses, and leather-bound books should be the aesthetic.
7. Spines & Stories
So simple, but so clever.
This is a name that feels approachable and grounded – like you could talk about any genre, from romance to sci-fi to fantasy, and it would fit.
So, it’s perfect for general book reviews, buddy reads, and list videos.
For this, go with an inviting, clean aesthetic. Think white bookshelves, natural light, plants, and cozy sweaters.
You could also add pops of color based on your mood or the season.
8. Paper Moon Reads
This name sounds magical, like floating through a night sky filled with books.
It would be so perfect for a channel that focuses on whimsical reads – fantasy, fairy tales, magical realism – or even a mix of dreamy poetry.
For the look? Stars, soft blues and silvers, fairy lights, moon imagery, maybe even whimsical digital overlays.
9. Chapter & Chill
A fun, modern name that gives Netflix & Chill energy – but for books.
I think this is so perfect for laid-back book chats, wrap-ups, and casual TBR videos where you don’t take yourself too seriously.
The aesthetic could be simple: comfy pajamas, cozy throws, snacking while you talk, messy hair, realistic reader life.
10. The Quiet Spine
This one is a perfect name if you want to do calm reviews, whispery chats, or thoughtful book essays.
For aesthetic, go with Muted tones, neutrals, slow pans of bookshelves, the sound of pages turning, quiet rain in the background.
This is for the introverted, gentle book lover who creates peaceful spaces online.
11. Bookmarked Moments
I adore this because it suggests that books are tied to life memories – like that time you read your favorite novel on a beach or cried over a sad ending at midnight.
You could film in different life settings – parks, cafes, bedsides – and share how books shape your experiences.
The aesthetic can change with your mood or travels.
12. The TBR Tapestry
This name is rich, textured, and suggests a beautiful, complicated weaving of books waiting to be read.
So, it’s great for a channel that loves huge TBR lists, reading challenges, and TBR game style videos.
Colorful, busy backgrounds, maybe even a literal fabric tapestry hanging behind you will make the vibe pop.
Fun fonts, quirky graphics, a little chaotic energy because – let’s face it – TBR piles are wild. Own it.
13. Moonlit Margins
So ethereal, right? This is a name that sounds like it’s meant for gentle night readers, fans of poetry, slow reads, and the magic of quiet reading hours.
And it will be perfect for a soothing channel with slow, relaxing book content.
The aesthetic could be silvery blues, moon imagery, handwritten annotations in margins, soft instrumentals.
Maybe you do night reading vlogs, book soundscapes, or poetry readings. Very calming.
14. The Wandering Page
I love this for someone who likes books and travel or at least armchair traveling through fantasy worlds, sci-fi universes, and historical times.
You could do travel-inspired book lists, reading location-themed books, or just fantasy world explorations.
Maps, globes, vintage suitcases, outdoor vlogs in nature or city parks will give it a sense of movement and discovery.
15. Fiction & Ferns
This one is perfect for a book lover who also adores plants, nature, and cozy green spaces.
You could mix plant care tips with reading vlogs or do book recs based on plant vibes (yes, please!).
The aesthetic here is obvious and so cute: plants everywhere, soft natural light, garden reads, earth-toned clothes, maybe even garden soundscapes.
It would feel calm, nurturing, and refreshingly original.
16. Pine & Paperbacks
Doesn’t this sound like walking through a quiet forest with a book in hand?
It’s perfect for nature-loving readers or anyone who enjoys gentle, earthy vibes while reading.
It gives off this slow-living, cozy energy.
If you want to film outdoor book vlogs, morning reading routines by the window, or share gentle book thoughts, this would fit like a glove.
Aesthetic: greenery, soft flannel shirts, forest trails, maybe even a few cottagecore touches.
17. Paperback Daydreams
I love this because it sounds dreamy and full of imagination, like getting lost in a story when you should probably be doing something else (we’ve all been there).
It’s great for a channel that loves fantasy, romance, or whimsical books.
Your look could be soft pastels, cloud backdrops, fairy lights, maybe some soft focus shots.
It will feel light, magical, and like a daydream you don’t want to wake up from.
18. The Reading Nook
Simple, but timeless, this name instantly makes me picture a little comfy corner filled with books, pillows, and tea.
This is perfect if you want your channel to feel like a safe, welcoming space where people come to relax and chat about books.
For the aesthetic, think cozy, homey, candlelight, oversized sweaters, blankets.
Your thumbnails could be shot in your favorite reading spot or cozy corners around your home.
19. Plot Bunny Parade
This one’s playful and quirky, so it’s great if you’re into writing and reading, because plot bunnies are those story ideas that just keep hopping into your head.
It would suit a fun, creative channel with book talk, writing tips, or NaNoWriMo vlogs.
For the look, go colorful and cheerful with cute bunny illustrations, bold fonts, maybe even fun sound effects in your videos.
20. The Dust Jacket Club
This is such a clever name if you want your channel to feel like a secret society for book lovers.
You could do book club picks, discussions, even some mystery-themed content.
Your aesthetic could lean dark academia or vintage and include leather books, cozy libraries, moody lighting, and those old book covers we all secretly hoard.
21. Fiction Potion
This one’s for anyone who loves fantasy, spells, or witchy reads.
Perfect if you review fantasy, dark romance, or magical books.
For your channel’s vibe, go mystical: potion bottles, spell books, smoky effects, lots of jewel tones and sparkles.
22. Read Between Sips
What a vibe, right?
If you ask me, this one is the best for tea or coffee lovers who also read non-stop.
This is such a down-to-earth name if you want to film casual chats, reading updates, or what I’m reading this weekend videos.
Aesthetic could be your desk setup, tea brewing, latte art, book stacks beside a coffee cup. Just cozy, friendly, and super relatable.
24. Bookmarked & Bewitched
I can’t lie, I adore this one.
I think it’s great if you love fantasy, magic, and maybe even a little tarot or witchy stuff mixed in with your bookish content.
The name feels fun and mysterious.
For your look, pick dark colors, moon phases, candles, crystal balls – go full enchanted library.
You could even do themed reading vlogs for spooky or fantasy books.
24. The Cozy Chapter
This one is perfect for a slow-living reading channel – calm vlogs, quiet TBR lists, gentle book reviews without all the rush.
You could use lots of natural lighting, soft background music, maybe film by a fireplace or window seat.
Everything would feel soft, slow, and comforting like a quiet Sunday morning.
25. The Secret Shelf
This sounds mysterious – like there’s a hidden part of your bookshelf no one else knows about.
So, it’s great if you want to recommend underrated or hidden gem books, especially indie or lesser-known reads.
Aesthetic: dark corners, secret doors, whispery music, mystery book vibes.
26. Lit & Lovely
This name is fun because Lit can mean both literature and just, well, fun energy.
It’s perfect for a bubbly, chatty booktuber who loves hauls, TBR games, and bookish challenges.
Think bright colors, funky thumbnails, stickers, fast editing, and energy that feels fresh and full of life.
Your audience will feel like they’re hanging out with a friend who’s obsessed with books.
27. The Chapter Caravan
If you want to mix books with a little travel or adventure energy – even metaphorical traveling through stories – this is a super creative name.
Your aesthetic could be old maps, caravan wagons, fantasy landscapes, boho elements.
28. Ink & Whimsy
There’s something so pretty and artistic about this one.
It’s great if you want your channel to be thoughtful, poetic, maybe even include journaling or art with your reading content.
Your channel could have soft sketchbook vibes, watercolor illustrations, gentle voiceovers, and quiet moments.
29. Bookmarks & Bagels
This is just adorable and so real. Who doesn’t eat while reading?
I think this one is perfect for cozy reading vlogs, brunch book chats, or even combining food content with bookish joy.
The aesthetic should be cafe corners, brunch shots, soft lighting, croissants and coffee beside your current read.
One thing I will say, though – if you simply can’t think of a name, or you’re scared of boxing your YouTube channel into something book-related because you might end up doing other types of content later on, you can totally just use your own name.
I know tons of YouTube creators who do exactly that and have built a massive following, so it really doesn’t hurt at all.
But still, these are some name ideas you might want to play around with and see if they fit your vibe, your future plans, and all that beautiful stuff.
I really hope you’re able to set up your YouTube channel and if you do, please drop the link in the comments below. I’d definitely subscribe.
