3. It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
After being ousted by her step-father, Socialite Piper is tasked with running a dive bar in a small town and she soon clashes with sea captain Brendan, who’s the grumpiest of the grumpiests.
The attraction between these two was on a totally different level and I savoured every moment between them as their attraction grew in leaps and bounds.

Bree who comes to Pelion, Maine, to find her peace, meets and then falls in love with Archer, a silent man with his own hidden agony.
Their transformative love story really leaned into their suffering, fate, and the power of love, and let me just tell you that this is hands down one of the most romantic books about small towns that’ll give you the feels.

5. Done And Dusted by Lyla Sage
Emmy, a horse rider, returns to her hometown and reconnects with Luke, her brother’s best friend.
