I feel like authors really brought out their best work in 2025, and this isn’t even a joke.
I’ve compiled a list of new book releases across different genres, and everything is just so amazing.
I’ve also been trying to keep up with some of the newest books coming out and let me tell you, it’s all so beautiful.
For this particular post, I’m rounding up some of the best new Christian fiction books released in 2025, and they are truly awesome.
I’ve read a good number of them, and I’ll also include a few that I want to read after the list.
As I read more, I’ll make sure to keep the blog updated with book reviews and all of that good stuff.
These are the ones you definitely want to keep an eye on. They are the ones I’ve read, loved, and truly enjoyed. And I think you’ll enjoy them too.
Every Hour Until Then by Gabrielle Meyer

Kathryn can time-cross. She literally lives in both 1888 London and 1938 Washington, D.C.
I was already hooked by that, but then we find out her sister is destined to be Jack the Ripper’s final victim.
As Kathryn races through time to stop a terrifying future, she’s also forced to choose between saving her sister or staying with the man she loves.
Gabrielle Meyer always makes time-travel feel real and emotional, and this one is no different.
The suspense, the historical detail, and the romance were so good.
If you love stories where faith, family, and tough choices collide across time, this one will grip you.
I honestly couldn’t stop thinking about what I would do if I were Kathryn.
Highly recommend for fans of emotional, edge-of-your-seat historical fiction!
The Collector of Burned Books by Roseanna M. White

This one is set in Nazi-occupied Paris, where books are being destroyed and truth is under attack.
Corinne helps run a secret library of banned books, but when the Nazis arrive, everything’s at risk.
Enter Christian, a German professor who’s totally against the Party but forced into their service.
The way they risk everything for words, truth, and each other just filled me with so much hope. I adored the quiet strength in both characters.
Roseanna M. White doesn’t just write history. She always brings it alive with compassion and courage.
This story made me reflect on the power of stories to change the world, and I know it’ll do the same for you.
It’s haunting, beautiful, and honestly, one of my favorites this year.
Noble: The Story of Maakah by Mesu Andrews

Maakah is a princess, and at first, she’s not thrilled about marrying David, the shepherd-turned-warrior.
But over time, her respect for David grows as she sees his faith and leadership in action.
What struck me most was Maakah’s strength in the face of rejection from David’s people and how she slowly finds her place in a divided land.
Mesu Andrews does a beautiful job showing how God uses people from every background for His bigger plan.
I’ve always found the stories around David fascinating, but this gave me a whole new view.
We get to see everything through the eyes of a strong, noble woman navigating love, faith, and purpose.
It’s thoughtful, heart-tugging, and perfect for readers who love Biblical fiction with deep emotional roots.
These Blue Mountains by Sarah Loudin Thomas

Hedda’s search for her lost fiancé leads her all the way from Germany to North Carolina, but instead of finding answers, she uncovers a mystery.
There’s a woman’s body in Fritz’s coffin and I was instantly leaning over.
Hedda and Deputy Garland make such a compelling pair, both carrying grief and secrets, and watching them slowly trust each other was so touching.
I really loved the quiet moments between them and the beauty of second chances.
I cried a few times (not going to lie), but I smiled too. This one is perfect for when you need a moving, redemptive read.
Hope’s Enduring Echo by Kim Vogel Sawyer

When Leo, a young geology student desperate to make his father proud, spots Jennie waving what looks like a fossil, he jumps off a train (literally) to find her.
Jennie’s been carrying the weight of caring for her injured father, so when Leo shows genuine interest in her fossil discovery and her company, it feels like a gift from God.
Their friendship grows slowly, filled with gentle moments and sweet discoveries – not just about dinosaur bones, but about each other.
I loved how faith and hope are quietly threaded through their bond.
If you enjoy soft, historical romances with a kind touch and two people learning to trust again, this book is a true treasure. I adored every page.
Two Seconds Too Late by Dani Pettrey

This a thrilling Christian mystery that totally pulled me in.
Riley, a bold skip tracer, goes undercover at a fancy retreat where a woman has gone missing.
She’s forced to team up with Greyson, a private investigator who’s all about rules, so you can imagine the sparks (and not always the good kind).
They’re complete opposites, but somehow they work.
Their mission quickly turns deadly when a hitman shows up, and the twists just keep coming.
I loved how the story balances action with faith, and how Riley and Greyson slowly learn to trust – not just each other, but God’s timing.
If you’re like me and love mysteries with just a dash of romance, you’ll be hooked. I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
Fire Mountain by Dana Mentink

Kit wakes up in her crashed truck, memory fuzzy, with a baby in her arms and a volcano ready to erupt nearby.
She then meets Cullen, a gruff former cop who just wants to be left alone, but he steps in to help when things get scary fast.
There’s a bullet hole, a bloody handprint, and dangerous men looking for them.
I loved how Kit and Cullen – two very different people – had to trust each other to survive.
Even in all the action, there’s this beautiful reminder that God doesn’t leave us alone in our mess.
It’s fast-paced, yes, but also so full of heart. I couldn’t put it down and I already want the next in the series.
This Promised Land by Cathy Gohlke

Chloe and Lily head to Israel with their team to solve a mystery involving ancient seals and a dangerous secret.
The settings are so vivid – Masada, hidden tunnels, desert caves – it felt like I was right there with them.
The stakes are high, with a shadowy group called The Society chasing them, and I loved how the sisters leaned on each other and on God.
Gil and Aaron were such strong, steady characters too. I thought the balance of action and spiritual themes was just right.
If you love books that mix biblical mystery, danger, and faith-driven friendship, this one’s a must.
I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I finished. It’s thrilling and uplifting.
The Daughter of Rome by Angela Elwell Hunt

I was so moved by this one – it’s powerful, emotional, and really made me think.
Calandra lives in ancient Rome, helping her sculptor father, when the great fire changes everything.
Suddenly, she’s surrounded by Christians – people who love with grace and worship a God she’s never known.
Watching her slowly open her heart to their way of life was so beautiful.
And when Emperor Nero blames Christians for the fire, she’s faced with the hardest choices.
This story is filled with tension, sacrifice, and moments of pure light.
I couldn’t help but admire her strength. Angela Hunt writes with such depth and you really feel the danger but also the hope.
If you’re drawn to stories about faith in dark times, this one will stay with you. I honestly found it unforgettable.
Splendor of the Land by Connilyn Cossette

Gavriel, a soldier with a complicated past, just wants to be more than a fighter.
When he’s sent on a mission, he meets Zahava – a goldsmith with an incredible gift but a hidden life due to her physical challenges.
Their meeting isn’t just fate, it’s God’s hand, and the way their story unfolds is beautiful.
There’s danger, purpose, and a growing love that feels so earned and sweet.
I loved how both characters had to confront what they believed about themselves and how God had a plan all along.
The setting in ancient Israel adds such richness too.
I’m always in awe of Connilyn Cossette’s storytelling, and this one touched me deeply.
It’s inspiring, romantic, and full of grace and I loved every moment of it.
