9. To Steal a Highlander’s Heart by Samantha Holt

To Steal a Highlanders Heart

When Morgann captures her, old wounds are reopened, especially between their clans.

But Morgann has bigger plans for Alana, involving a long-held secret that could change everything. As they are forced together, sparks fly, and their second chance at love comes with some serious risks.

I’m a sucker for second-chance romances and this one definitely hits the spot!

Morgann and Alana have so much history, which makes their slow-burning chemistry even better.

The mix of tension, heat, and a bit of mystery really makes this one stand out, and I love how their relationship develops despite all the chaos.

10. If You Dare by Kresley Cole

If you dare

Courtland MacCarrick is out for revenge against a cruel general, and the perfect way to get it is by kidnapping Lady Annalía.

But Annalía isn’t the helpless lady Court expected. As passion flares between them, Court finds himself caught in a curse that threatens both their lives.

With dangerous enemies on their heels, they have to decide if they can trust each other—and if love is possible under such dangerous circumstances.

Kresley Cole never disappoints when it comes to combining action with steamy romance, and If You Dare is no exception.

Court and Annalía are such a fiery pair, and I loved how their relationship develops from hatred to something much deeper.

11. The Chieftain by Margaret Mallory

The Chieftain

Connor MacDonald must defend his clan from rivals, and when he seeks the guidance of Ilysa, a healer with a gift for foresight, they find themselves drawn together.

Despite their differences in status, Connor and Ilysa can’t deny the attraction between them.

I’m a big fan of historical romances where fate and destiny seem to play a huge role, and this one definitely delivers.

Ilysa’s powers and her connection with Connor made for a really interesting dynamic, and I enjoyed seeing them manage their differences while also trying to protect each other.

12. The Blood of Roses by Marsha Canham

The Blood of Roses

The sequel to The Pride of Lions, this novel follows Catherine Ashbrooke Cameron as she fights for her life and love in the Scottish Highlands.

Married to Alexander Cameron, a Scottish spy, she must navigate betrayal, war, and the dangers of her past while trying to stay by her husband’s side.

Their love faces challenges, but they’re determined to be together despite the odds.

I couldn’t put this one down! Catherine’s bravery and love for Alexander are so strong, and watching them fight for each other amidst so much chaos made for a compelling read.

The Scottish setting is rich with history, and the passion between Catherine and Alexander only makes the stakes higher. This one had my heart racing!

13. To Beguile a Beast by Elizabeth Hoyt

To Beguile a Beast

Alistair Munroe, scarred both inside and out from his time in the Colonies, hides away in his castle.

When Helen Fitzwilliam arrives to take up a job as his housekeeper, sparks fly.

Helen has her own dark secrets, and as their connection deepens, their pasts threaten to tear them apart.

Together, can they overcome their demons to find happiness?

I love a good “beast” with a heart of gold, and Alistair is definitely that!

Helen’s mysterious past and her no-nonsense attitude made for a really great pairing with Alistair’s brooding nature.

14. To Bewitch a Highlander by Lily Baldwin

To Bewitch a Highlander

Shoney’s skills with a bow are enough to capture Ronan’s attention, but her mysterious nature keeps him intrigued.

When fate brings them together, secrets and danger follow.

As Ronan uncovers the truth behind Shoney’s fears, he finds himself in a battle to protect her from both external threats and her own inner turmoil.

I love the mystery surrounding Shoney’s identity—there’s so much intrigue here!

Ronan’s determination to protect her makes him the perfect hero, and I couldn’t wait to see how they would both overcome the obstacles in their path.

It’s a slow burn with great chemistry, and the suspense kept me hooked!

15. Charming the Highlander by Janet Chapman

Charming the Highlander

Grace Sutter is stranded on a mountaintop in Maine after a plane crash, with Greylen MacKeage, a warrior tossed through time.

As they struggle to survive in the harsh wilderness, sparks fly between them.

Grace, a scientist, is skeptical about falling for someone so out of place in her world, but Greylen will stop at nothing to win her heart.

Time travel romances are one of my guilty pleasures, and this one is no exception!

The combination of science and the medieval warrior trope is so unique and fun.

Grace’s skepticism about Greylen and their growing attraction was really entertaining, and the high-stakes survival element added an extra layer of excitement.

If you love a strong heroine and a swoon-worthy hero, this one’s for you!

If you’re ready for some heart-racing romance and a dash of Scottish flair, grab your favorite cozy blanket and settle in for a reading marathon you won’t forget.
