To be honest, I don’t watch a lot of reality TV shows because I get all my drama from books.

But if you love reality TV, you’re going to enjoy these reality TV romance novels.

The setup is just as you’d expect: the characters in the books go on a reality TV show, and while they’re there, they fall in love.

Sometimes, they don’t fall in love with the other contestants; it could be that they fall for one of the crew members.

The bottom line is that the reality TV show is the plot of the book.

The books in this post are so interesting, sweet, romantic, and some are very, very spicy.

But what I do know for sure is that if you give them a chance, you’re absolutely going to fall in love with all the characters.

Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake by Alexis Hall

Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake

Rosaline joins a popular baking show to win the prize money and give her daughter a better life.

She’s smart, determined, and juggling so much.

Between failed pastries and flirty contestants, she ends up stuck between charming Alain and shy but sweet Harry.

I loved how real Rosaline felt – messy, lovable, and unsure.

This story made me smile and root for love that isn’t perfect but feels right.

It’s very much about baking, but also about finding your voice, trusting your heart, and realizing that the best things in life (and in love) come when you stop following the recipe.

Fake It Till You Bake It by Jamie Wesley

Fake It Till You Bake It

Jada becomes America’s least favorite reality star after saying no on TV.

She hides out at a cupcake bakery run by Donovan, a serious football player with a secret love for baking.

When people think they’re dating, they decide to play along.

I had such a soft spot for this couple – watching them pretend to be in love only to realize they actually are? So cute.

There’s sweetness, laughter, and swoony romance in every chapter.

It’s like biting into a perfect cupcake: fun, fluffy, and totally satisfying.

I didn’t want their story to end.

D’Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding by Chencia C. Higgins

DVaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding

These two women enter a reality show to plan a fake wedding for money and fame but somewhere along the way, the fake feelings turn very real.

D’Vaughn’s quiet and cautious, while Kris is bold and camera-ready.

I found their journey so beautiful and brave, especially as they faced fears, family pressure, and what it means to be truly seen.

The chemistry? Amazing. The tension? Delicious. Their romance felt honest and full of heart.

I loved how this book celebrated queer love and happy endings, all wrapped in glitz, drama, and a whole lot of wedding flair.

Million Dollar Marriage by Katy Evans

Million Dollar Marriage

Nell never imagined marrying a stranger on national TV, but here she is – doing it for the money.

Luke is hot, charming, and totally not husband material. Or is he?

They compete against other couples, but sparks fly between them for real.

This book made me laugh, swoon, and cheer.

I really liked how two total opposites found common ground – and love – in the middle of chaos.

If you enjoy wild romantic setups with heart underneath, you’ll have fun with this one.

It’s messy, sexy, and surprisingly sweet.

Like a reality show you can’t stop watching, but with a better ending.

The Love Rematch by Kay Marie

The Love Rematch

Emily becomes the star of a dating show after her mom goes viral asking the world to find her a man.

But guess who’s the producer? Jake – the guy who broke her heart years ago.

Their banter is sharp, the tension is real, and I loved how old feelings bubbled up behind the scenes.

This one’s for you if you like second chances, exes forced to work together, and drama with a soft center.

I couldn’t help but root for them.

It’s sweet, a little chaotic, and totally fun – just like your favorite dating show, but better.

The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun

The Charm Offensive

Dev is a producer who believes in love stories – just not his own.

Charlie, a tech genius trying to fix his image, is cast as the lead on Dev’s dating show.

But he’s stiff, awkward, and doesn’t click with the women. It’s Dev who makes him feel safe.

I adored this slow, tender romance.

It’s full of heart, warmth, and the kind of emotional healing that stays with you.

It shows how real love sometimes hides behind the camera.

This story touched me deeply – it’s sweet, meaningful, and gave me all the feelings.

On the Plus Side by Jenny L. Howe

On the Plus Side

Everly lives quietly, never drawing attention to herself.

But when she’s chosen for a plus-size makeover show, her life changes.

With cameras everywhere and loud hosts pushing her to open up, she finds calm in the shy cameraman, Logan.

Their quiet friendship slowly turns into something more.

I really loved how this book showed that love and confidence come in all shapes and sizes.

Everly’s journey felt personal and beautiful, and Logan? Total softie.

Watching her bloom on camera – and in love – was so heartwarming.

This one’s sweet, comforting, and gentle like a warm hug.

Royally Matched by Emma Chase

Royally Matched

Prince Henry doesn’t want to be king, so when he joins a royal dating show, it’s pure chaos.

Women fight for his attention, but he only has eyes for quiet, nerdy Sarah.

I smiled so much reading this one.

It’s got royal drama, flirty fun, and a love story that feels like a modern fairy tale.

Sarah’s kindness and Henry’s growth made their romance so satisfying.

If you like romance with castles, tiaras, and a prince who learns to grow up for love, you’ll enjoy this.

It’s cheeky and sweet in the best way.

Love & Other Disasters by Anita Kelly

Love and Other Disasters

Dahlia joins a cooking show to start fresh after divorce.

She’s clumsy, messy, and lovable.

London is the show’s first nonbinary contestant, and they just want to prove they belong.

Neither planned on falling in love but they do, one sweet and spicy moment at a time.

Their story felt so real and tender.

I adored the way they supported each other and challenged the world’s expectations. Plus, the cooking scenes were delicious!

Love, food, and healing – it has all the right ingredients.

The Love Con by Seressia Glass

The Love Con scaled

Kenya is a cosplay queen with dreams of turning her hobby into a career.

When she’s picked for a reality show, she asks her best friend, Cam, to pretend to be her boyfriend.

What starts as fake soon feels very real.

I adored their friendship, their laughs, and the way they supported each other.

Kenya’s creative spirit and Cam’s quiet strength made such a lovely match.

This book was geeky, fun, and so full of love.

If you’ve ever wanted your best friend to fall in love with you, this one’s for you.

It’s soft, nerdy, and full of heart.
