In case it isn’t obvious by now, I literally use every opportunity I have to put together lists – and holidays are my absolute favorite.
Romance stories that take place around a holiday are just super extra cozy.
Depending on how much that holiday means to you, these books can end up feeling so special and personal.
Thanksgiving isn’t a huge deal in my country, but after reading so many North American Thanksgiving romance books, I naturally gravitate toward them whenever November rolls around.
Since I noticed there wasn’t a post on the blog about Thanksgiving romance novels (I have already shared my personal favorite Christmas rom-coms, which you should definitely check out), I decided to put together a list of the very best Thanksgiving romance books ever.
These books are so cute!
They take place around Thanksgiving and really capture the beauty of the holiday – the love, happiness, affection, and that feeling of coming together with family (or whoever you love) to celebrate and give thanks for a successful year.
I just think that’s such a beautiful feeling, no matter how you look at it.
Fakesgiving by Kat Baxter

Kaitlyn’s Thanksgiving is already a mess – her sister’s marrying her ex, her mom’s meddling, and she needs a boyfriend fast.
So who better than her handsome, serious boss, Jackson?
What starts as a fake relationship soon turns into something deliciously real.
I really loved how this book mixes humor, family chaos, and sizzling chemistry.
It’s such a perfect Thanksgiving romance to cozy up with – full of pumpkin pie, fake dating gone wrong (and right), and that warm feeling that love sometimes sneaks up when you least expect it.
Sweet, funny, and so satisfying.
A Very Mountain Man Thanksgiving by Shaw Hart

Rory never expected a wrong email to lead her to love.
For six months, she’s exchanged messages with Rhodes – a quiet, scarred man living in the mountains.
When she finally meets him, sparks fly, and their emotional bond deepens into something tender and beautiful.
I adored this story because it’s heartfelt and gentle, with that cozy, small-town warmth perfect for Thanksgiving.
Rhodes is the kind of gruff, protective hero that makes you melt, and Rory’s kindness just makes everything sweeter.
It’s all about finding love in unexpected places and learning to see beyond scars.
Lease on Love by Fallon Ballard

After losing her promotion and apartment, Sadie accidentally finds herself moving in with Jack – a quiet, heartbroken man who wasn’t even looking for a roommate.
As Sadie fills his world with warmth and laughter, they both start to heal.
I really loved how this book feels like a comforting rom-com hug – funny, emotional, and full of heart.
It’s the perfect Thanksgiving read if you love slow-burn romance and second chances.
Watching Sadie and Jack turn an awkward living situation into love is just so sweet and uplifting.
Shopping for a Turkey by Julia Kent

Amy and Hamish are opposites – she’s American and he’s a Scottish football star – but when Thanksgiving brings them together, sparks (and laughs) fly.
Between cultural mix-ups, flirty moments, and sweet surprises, this novella is a lighthearted treat.
I really liked how it captures the spirit of Thanksgiving – food, family, and love – with humor and charm.
If you want something short, funny, and romantic, this is perfect for curling up with after dinner. And, Hamish’s accent? Totally swoon-worthy.
Her Naughty Holiday by Tiffany Reisz

Clover dreads another Thanksgiving filled with judgment from her family.
So, she hatches a plan: show up with a fake boyfriend.
Enter Erick, the gorgeous single dad she’s secretly crushing on.
What follows is a steamy, funny, and surprisingly tender story about owning your choices and finding joy.
I really enjoyed how this one mixes heat with heart – it’s sexy but also sweet.
If you want a Thanksgiving romance that’s bold, fun, and full of unexpected love, this is a great pick.
One Forked Up Thanksgiving by Claire Raye

Chloe’s done with dating disasters, but when her mom won’t stop nagging about her love life, she asks her best friend Seth to pretend to be her boyfriend.
What she doesn’t know? Seth’s been in love with her for years.
I adored this story because it’s such a classic friends-to-lovers romance with all the cozy Thanksgiving feels.
It’s funny, warm, and full of family chaos – the kind that makes you smile because it feels so real.
A perfect holiday read that ends with laughter and love.
There Better Be Pie by Jessica Gadziala

Juliette can’t stand Trip – he’s annoying, arrogant, and everything she doesn’t want.
But when her parents invite him to Thanksgiving, things start to shift.
Beneath all that irritation is a spark neither of them can ignore.
I loved how this novella shows how love can sneak up between two people who swear they can’t stand each other.
It’s short, sweet, and has that slow-burn warmth that feels perfect for the holidays. And yes – there’s pie, plenty of it!
A Match Made for Thanksgiving by Jackie Lau

Nick’s dreading Thanksgiving in his small hometown, especially when his meddling family sets up blind dates for him and his siblings.
But things take a twist when he realizes his brother’s date is the woman he can’t stop thinking about – Lily.
I really liked how this book combines humor, family drama, and romance in such a fun way.
It’s lighthearted, steamy, and filled with delicious food (and dumplings!).
If you love big, messy families and unexpected love stories, this one will make your Thanksgiving even cozier.
Stuffed by Hannah Murray

Esme and her husband Tuck decide to host a Friendsgiving, but things take a spicy turn when they invite four close friends and the night becomes one to remember.
This story is bold, playful, and full of passion, but it’s also about connection and trust between partners.
I liked how it celebrates love, openness, and fun in a mature way.
If you’re looking for something steamy but still full of warmth and laughter, this is definitely one of the most unforgettable Thanksgiving books.
The Thanksgiving Hookup by J. Sterling

Skye and River can’t stand each other – or so they think.
But when a snowstorm traps them in the same hotel over Thanksgiving, they start to see each other in a completely new light.
I really loved how this enemies-to-lovers story unfolds with humor and heart.
It’s cozy, romantic, and perfect for the holidays.
Watching them go from irritation to attraction feels so natural and sweet.
If you like holiday romances that make you smile and swoon, this one’s a perfect pick for Thanksgiving weekend.
And that’s my roundup of the very best Thanksgiving romance books – the ones that make your heart feel full, your cheeks hurt from smiling, and your soul just a little warmer.
