I’m so excited to share these with you!

1. The Hymn to Dionysus by Natasha Pulley (March 18th)

A Hymn to Dionysus

This one sounds so intriguing!

It’s a fresh take on the Greek god of chaos, Dionysus, and if you loved The Song of Achilles, this could be right up your alley.

The story follows Phaidros, a man raised in a Greek legion who ends up hiding a baby after a fire.

As years pass, he’s haunted by flashbacks, and his life only gets more complicated when he teams up with Thebes’s crown prince and a mysterious witch, Dionysus.

Chaos, gods, and a human struggle – it’s definitely a story that promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.

2. The Boxcar Librarian by Brianna Labuskes (March 4th)

The Boxcar Librarian

If you’re a fan of historical novels and love books about books, this could be one to check out.

It’s set in the Great Depression and follows Millie Lang as she discovers a traveling library on a train.

There’s mystery, history, and some serious bookish vibes, as she finds connections to a missing woman while exploring the importance of books in tough times.

3. Behind the Waterline by Kionna Walker LeMalle (March 25th)

Behind the Waterline

This one has such a haunting and beautiful premise.

Set just before Hurricane Katrina, it follows a teenager and his grandmother as they face the rising waters of the storm.

They find a hidden room, and through the water’s rise, they discover family secrets and history.

I can already tell this is going to be an emotional ride, full of survival, loss, and ultimately, strength.

4. Far From Home by Danielle Steel (March 4th)

Far From Home

Set in WWII, Far From Home sounds like the kind of story that will tug at your heartstrings.

Arielle von Auspeck is forced into hiding after her husband’s execution, and in a small Normandy village, she bonds with a Resistance fighter.

Together, they manage the horrors of war, love, and survival.

It’s the kind of historical fiction that sticks with you long after you turn the last page and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

5. The Jackal’s Mistress by Chris Bohjalian (March 11th)

The Jackals Mistress

This one caught my attention because it’s set during the Civil War and follows Libby Steadman as she decides whether to help a wounded Union officer she finds near her home.

But there’s more – her husband is missing, and this decision might lead to finding answers.

The story seems like it’s full of tough choices, love, and loyalty, which makes it a pretty compelling read.

6. The Paris Express by Emma Donoghue (March 18th)

The Paris Express

A historical novel based on a real train disaster? Yes, please.

The Paris Express weaves together the lives of passengers with such unique perspectives – politicians, anarchists, and more.

It’s the kind of story that offers a glimpse into a bygone era and makes you think about how history moves through ordinary people.

This one sounds like it’ll be hard to put down.

7. 33 Place Brugmann by Alice Austen (March 11th)

33 Place Brugmann

This one’s a debut novel set in Brussels right before WWII, where eight residents of a grand building face the upcoming Nazi occupation.

I love that it’s about identity, courage, and the arts during a dark time.

It sounds like it’ll be a beautifully complex read about the choices people make in the face of war.

8. The Story She Left Behind by Patti Callahan Henry (March 18th)

The Story She Left Behind

Now, this one is for anyone who loves a good literary mystery.

Clara’s famous mother disappeared when Clara was young, and now, Clara is on a quest to find out what happened.

I love the idea of piecing together family secrets and discovering the hidden truths that shape who we are.

This is going to be one of those stories that makes you think about your own family and what’s left unsaid.

9. One Good Thing by Georgia Hunter (March 4th)

One Good Thing scaled

Set in Italy during WWII, One Good Thing follows Lili, a Jewish woman on the run from the Nazis.

As she travels with her son and best friend, she finds strength in their love and friendship.

This book sounds like it will be one of those powerful, heartfelt stories about survival and sacrifice.

Definitely one that will stick with you long after you finish.

10. The Antidote by Karen Russell (March 11th)

The Antidote

This Dust Bowl epic introduces us to a small town ravaged by storms and filled with characters whose lives are intertwined in unexpected ways.

With everything from memory to loss and then climate change, it sounds like it’ll be a really thought-provoking story.

If you like stories that dig deep into people’s lives and how they’re shaped by the world around them, this one’s for you.

11. A Map to Paradise by Susan Meissner (March 1st)

A mystery set in Malibu during the 1950s? I’m so into this!

It follows starlet Melanie Cole as she discovers her neighbor Elwood has gone missing, and the search leads her to unexpected secrets.

It’s the kind of book that mixes glamour with hidden darkness, and I love how it promises to explore the fragile bonds between people.

12. One Step Forward by Marcie Flinchum Atkins (March 4th)

One Step Forward

This YA novel about a young suffragist during WWI sounds so powerful.

Matilda’s fighting for women’s right to vote, and the book takes us on her journey through this pivotal time in history.

I’m really drawn to how the story focuses on courage and standing up for what’s right, even when everything feels impossible.

It’s going to be one of those books that inspires and stays with you and it’s more amazing because it’s written in verse.
