Whenever I read a romance book, I tell myself it can’t possibly get better than that. But then I see the new releases for a particular month and realise I’m just kidding myself.

You guys, I’m not saying this just because August is my birth month, but the new romance book releases this month definitely have to be the best so far.

There’s everything from swanky historical romances to new and spicy paranormal picks, and even several young adult romance books hitting the shelves this month – My TBR list must already be shaking.

I honestly don’t know how I’m going to make enough time to read every single book on this list, but best believe I’ll do my best.

So, if you’ve been wondering about the new romance books coming out in August, here is a list of my most anticipated ones.

Exciting August 2024 New Book Releases To Add To Your TBR

1. Daydream by Hannah Grace.

Daydream by Hannah Grace

When Henry Turner ends up in a tough class with his least favorite professor, he must work hard to survive his junior year. As the new ice hockey captain, failure is not an option.

Enter Halle Jacobs, a junior who befriends Henry after he accidentally joins her book club. Despite her busy schedule and writer’s block, Halle agrees to tutor Henry, hoping new experiences will inspire her. They just need to follow their rulebook—and avoid falling in love.

One thing you can always trust Hannah Grace to do is craft a tooth-achingly sweet romance book, so I’m already pumped to read this one.

Icebreaker and Wildfire were simply amazing, so, even though this one pretty much follows the well-worn cliché formula (boy bumps into girl, tutoring, etcetera), I’m keen to see the spin she puts on it.

Also, based on the previous book, I’m almost 80% certain this August 2024 romance book is going to be super steamy – yay! – and it’s a cross-cultural romance (WW/BM).

Daydream by Hannah Grace will be released on August 27th and you can order your copy on Amazon

2. Miranda in Retrograde by Lauren Layne.

Miranda in Retrograde

After being denied tenure and having her life thrown into disarray, physics professor Miranda Reed decides to follow her horoscope for a year in this lively rom-com.

Once a stickler for precision, Miranda turns to astrology for guidance, avoiding certain activities based on her signs and evaluating potential love interests.

As she navigates this new approach, she learns that neither science nor the stars hold all the answers, and sometimes, trusting her heart is the key to finding love.

I love, love, love books about women who totally abandon it all and set out on a journey to find themselves, so I already know I’m going to love reading Miranda’s story.

She has a lot to learn about herself and the plot simply introduces the most delightful story.

One issue I do have with books like this is that the romance oftentimes overshadows the personal development, but I hope that won’t be the case here.

Miranda in Retrograde by Lauren Layne will be released on August 13th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

3. The Truth According to Ember by Danica Nava.

The truth according to amber

Struggling with job rejections, Ember Lee Cardinal alters her resumé and falsifies her ethnicity to land a dream accounting job on Park Avenue, Oklahoma City.

And soon, she begins a secret relationship with Danuwoa Colson, a fellow Native IT guy, but when a colleague starts blackmailing her, Ember’s web of lies grows.

Now, she has a tough choice: stay silent or risk everything by coming clean.

Passing is a delicate topic, no matter how you look at it, and while this debut rom-com promises loads of fun, I’m curious to see how the author handles this delicate issue.

Another reason I’m amped about this upcoming August romance book is that it has Chickasaw representation which is much needed in the romance genre.

The Truth According to Ember by Danica Nava will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

4. Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca.

Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca

Boneyard Key is a small Florida town that capitalizes on its ghostly charm, and coffee shop owner Nick Royer, who has a spectral roommate, leans into this local ghost tourism with all his might.

When Cassie Rutherford moves from Orlando to buy a historic cottage in town, she experiences several unusual happenings in her new home and soon connects with Nick, who shares local ghost stories and town gossip.

But, as their bond deepens, Cassie fears she’s getting top sucked into her haunted home, while Nick hesitates to get too close because he is worried she might be scared away.

Well Met, which is the first book in this author’s Well Met, is one of the all-time favorite romantic pieces, so my expectations are rather high for this one.

And, there’s nothing that quite screams romance like a haunted house and a grumpy tour guide who may or may not have a crush on my FL – I can’t wait to read this lovely small town romance book!

Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca will be released on August 13th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

5. ‘Til Heist Do Us Part by Sara Desai.

Til Heist Do Us Part

A year after Simi Chopra’s crew pulled off a heist with Jack Danger, they’re broke and and being threatened by a Chicago Mafia boss who wants them to return a diamond necklace – plus interest.

But, the necklace is now with Jack’s vengeful nemesis, who blackmails them into a new heist. As Simi tries to rob the billionaire’s mansion, she must avoid a pursuing detective and manage her crumbling relationship with Jack, or risk ending up in serious trouble.

I always get weak in the knees for beautiful covers and this one pretty much sealed the deal, even though I haven’t really liked every one of this author’s books.

But, I will say that I’m always, always down for a good heist-themed romance and the fact that there are two (not one) possible romantic leads is making me do a happy jig.

Till Heist Do Us Part by Sara Desai will be released on August 20th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

6. The Break Up Pact by Emma Lord.

The Break Up Pact by Emma Lord

June and Levi, best friends who drifted apart a decade ago, find themselves in the spotlight after their public break-ups go viral.

Somehow, a photo of them together leads to rumors they’re a couple and to leverage the attention, they pretend to date—June to save her tea shop and Levi to make his ex regret her decision.

As they stage swoon-worthy moments after the other, they face the challenge of keeping their hearts out of it, even though fake dating might stir up real feelings.

A fake relationship book is everything and what better than ex-friends who haven’t been in touch for a long time.

June and Levi sound like such a riot and I have such high expectations for this lovely book.

The Break-Up Pact by Emma Lord will be released on August 13th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

7. The Pairing by Casey McQuiston.

The Pairing by Casey McQuiston

In Casey McQuiston’s latest romantic comedy, exes Theo and Kit accidentally book the same European food and wine tour four years after their breakup.

To prove they’re over each other, they challenge each other to a hookup competition.

And, as they explore France, Spain, and Italy, their feelings resurface and they must confront the fact that their past might not be as finished as they thought.

You know I absolutely go feral for a second chance romance book, so I’m so keen to read this upcoming romance book.

Casey McQuiston is the kind of author who makes you fall in love with her characters from the get-go and I simply know that Theo and Kit are going to be my new faves.

And, just incase you missed this, this talented author’s previous M/M romance work, Red, White, & Royal Blue, is now streaming on Netflix, so make sure you check it out.

The Pairing by Casey McQuiston will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

8. Love and Other Conspiracies by Mallory Marlowe.

Love and Other Conspiracies by Mallory Marlowe

Mallory Marlowe’s debut romantic comedy follows paranormal conspiracy theorist Hayden Hargrove and web series producer Hallie Barrett who team up after both facing career setbacks.

Hallie, dumped by her ex and losing her job, finds inspiration in Hayden’s cryptid expertise.

Soon enough, they’re working together and as they investigate paranormal phenomena and face off on camera, their chemistry elevates their show—and sparks a connection that challenges their beliefs and opens their hearts to love once more.

This new-to-everyone author’s work promises the best type of fun and amazing chemistry between leads and you know that’s someone I’m always up to receive.

Hallie and Hayden have their work cut out for them, between their new show and their budding romance and I really, really, really can’t wait to come into their world.

Love and Other Conspiracies by Mallory Marlowe will be released on August 20th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

9. Bananapants by Penny Reid.

Bananapants by Penny Reid

Childhood friends Ava Archer and Desmond Sullivan unexpectedly reunite under the most odd circumstances – Ava is posing as her posh coworker at a fancy party, while Desmond, a thief with a strict moral code, returns to Chicago to tackle a high-stakes heist.

When Ava’s clumsy disguise catches Desmond’s eye, their bickering and antics lead them on a chaotic journey to love, all while trying to make sense of the many secrets around them and high society.

Penny Reid is one of my auto-buy authors, so I wholeheartedly believe that Bananapants, which is one of my most anticipated August 2024 romance book releases, is going to be amazing.

I’ve read a good number of her books and relished every single one of them – Take it from me: Keep your coins ready because Ava and Desmond in this zany friends to lovers romantic comedy will take you on the wildest ride.

Bananapants by Penny Reid will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

10. Four Weekends and a Funeral by Ellie Palmer.

Four Weekends and a Funeral by Ellie Palmer

In this heartfelt debut romance, Alison Mullally attends her ex-boyfriend Sam’s funeral and pretends to be his grieving girlfriend when no one knows they broke up.

Tasked with packing up his apartment with his surly best friend, Adam Berg, Alison’s attempts to win him over lead to an unexpected chemistry.

Now, Alison must decide whether to come clean and embrace the new love blossoming between them or let her lie jeopardize her only chance at happiness.

This is the second debut author I’ve got lined up on my romance TBR and the synopsis provided sounds absolutely delightful.

I can totally see how two individuals who have lost someone close to them could bond and fall in love with each other but it’s a touchy topic and I’m curious to see what the author makes of it.

Four Weekends and a Funeral by Ellie Palmer will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

11. Elizabeth of East Hampton by Aubrey Belleza and Emily Harding.

Elizabeth of East Hampton by Aubrey Belleza

In this witty modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Bennet isn’t excited about another summer in the Hamptons, where wealthy Manhattanites invade her small town.

Stuck helping her family’s struggling bakery, Lizzy’s life changes when she meets aloof and wealthy Will Darcy, who is set up with her by his friend Charlie Pierce.

Even though they don’t get along at first and there always seems to be some drama in their friends’ relationships, Lizzy and Will slowly realise they’re growing closer.

Soon enough, they grow closer to each other and learn that love often requires letting go of pride and embracing vulnerability.

One thing that’s universally acknowledged is that we can never have enough P&P retelling and this hot-off-the-press, August 2024 new romance book promises to bring everything from the scandal to the romance.

You’re definitely going to love this book if you can’t get enough of bickering lovers and you’re in the mood for a romance that’s tender, heartwarming, and features two vulnerable yet strong individuals.

Elizabeth of East Hampton by Aubrey Belleza and Emily Harding will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

12. Bridesmaid Undercover by Meghan Quinn.

Bridesmaid Undercover by Meghan Quinn

Everly Plum is thrilled that she leads the Bridesmaid for Hire program at Magical Moments by Maggie.

When billionaire investor Hardy Hopper asks for her help with his friends’ wedding, including a mission to win back his ex, Everly agrees even though she has the biggest crush on Hardy.

As Everly’s feelings for Hardy grow and he starts to notice her, their mutual attraction complicates things and together with their meddling friends, timing issues, and professional boundaries, they try to see if they can find love amid the chaos.

This might be a false generalisation, but I genuinely believe that everyone has a soft spot for matchmaking romance; that is, books where the FL or ML is a make matchmaker for the other protagonist.

In this August 2024 romance book, Everly decides to overlook her personal feelings and help Hardy get his girl and if that isn’t beautiful, soulful, and the perfect setup for the best romance ever, I don’t know what is.

And, of course, you can always trust Meghan Quinn to deliver the most wholesome stories ever, so I know this one will be a delight to read.

Bridesmaid Undercover by Meghan Quinn will be released on August 20th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

New Historical Romance Books Coming Out In August 2024

13. You’re the Problem, It’s You by Emma R. Alban.

Youre the problem its you

Bobby Mason, frustrated with his secondary role in life and eager to prove himself, feels like he has a bone to pick with the newly minted Viscount Demeroven, James.

James, on the other hand, has always felt like a disappointment and has had a secret crush on Bobby for the longest time even though Bobby thinks he’s equally captivating and infuriating.

One constant in their interactions with each other is the endless bickering and, soon,  they are forced to cooperate when an extortionist threatens their families.

This MM historical romance book is way up on my TBR for two reasons: firstly, it’s going to be released on my birthday (go Leos!) and the dearth of MM historical romance books is almost physically painful.

Emma R. Alban’s upcoming romance already feels fresh, heartwarming, and the obligatory dose of danger has me positively giddy already.

You’re The Problem, It’s You by Emma R. Alban will be released on August 15th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

14. How to Fall for a Scoundrel by Kate Bateman.

How to Fall for a Scoundrel

In this novel by Kate Bateman, private investigator Eleanor Law teams up with the charming con man pretending to be her fictional boss, Charles King, to recover a priceless manuscript.

Harry’s criminal past and her growing feelings for him may be crushing weights above them, but Ellie is determined to solve the case even though danger is swiftly approaching and Harry’s past seems to be catching up with him.

How To Fall For A Scoundrel already feels like passionate danger and sensual promises rolled up into one and I’m so seated for it.

There’s nothing that makes me go weak in the knees as fast as a stunning couple who give as good as they get and this August 2024 historical book release is already everything.

How To Fall for a Scoundrel by Kate Bateman will be released on August 20th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

15. Hot Earl Summer by Erica Ridley.

Hot Earl Summer

Bold and curvy Elizabeth Wynchester, who balances her love for hedgehogs with a hidden blade in her cane, is on a mission at the Earl of Densmore’s castle.

When she finds herself locked inside, she must face both traps and the alluring rogue guarding the keep.

Stephen Lenox, reclusive inventor impersonating his cousin, is unprepared for Elizabeth’s arrival or the threats against the earl, but danger looms and he must ersuade Elizabeth to open her heart and consider a future beyond their steamy affair.

Erica Ridley is a fantastic author in her own right (have you read The Duke Heist?), so I have high expectation, hopes, dreams, (insert other synonyms), for this upcoming book.

The stakes are obviously high – first a lone mission, then the impersonation, and, finally, the threats – and I am so, so, so amped to get sucked into the story.

Hot Earl Summer by Erica Ridley will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

Must-Read August 2024 New Romance & Fantasy (Romantasy) Books To Read

16. Wisteria by Adalyn Grace.

Wisteria by Adalyn Grace

The Belladonna series, follows orphaned Signa, who has been raised by various guardians with untimely deaths and is now with the enigmatic Hawthorne family at Thorn Grove.

In the first book, Signa, with the help of Death and a stable boy, investigates the poisoning claimed by the ghost of the late matriarch, and in the sequel Foxglove, Signa and Death face a new threat when Fate, Death’s vengeful brother, arrives seeking revenge, endangering Signa.

Wisteria is the final book in the trilogy and, this time aroung, the pair must solve new mysteries, manage Signa’s emerging powers, and somehow survive high society.

If I’m honest, I stay away from incomplete series since my heart isn’t built to withstand either cliffhangers or open endings, but now that it’s finally about to come to an end, I’m definitely going to give it a read.

The truth is that I’ve only heard good things about this YA fantasy book and, if we’re going on the 4.00 average rating on Goodreads, I believe it’s worth reading.

Wisteria by Adalyn Grace will be released on August 20th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

17. Born of Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

From Blood and Ash

In the thrilling conclusion to Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Flesh and Fire series, Sera is free from Kolis but haunted by her past.

With Nyktos by her side, she must find the faith to become the Queen of the Gods and rally support from the other Courts against Kolis even as she learns more of her bloodline’s secrets and the prophecy’s true meaning which raises the stakes.

With imminent losses and a powerful Primal of Death threatening, Sera and Nyktos must confront Kolis to save the realms from destruction.

I’ve been positively chomping at my bits waiting for this series-ender because, just as I said, I genuinely am not built for any type of suspense at all.

According to what everyone has said, Sera and Nyktos are a dream team even if their lives are dramatically chaotic and this fantasy romance book coming out in August 2024 ends one of the best fantasy series in recent times.

Born of Blood and Ash by Jennifer L.  Armentrout will be released on August 13th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

18. Dark Restraint by Katee Robert.

Dark Restraint by Katee Robert

After betraying her father and his benefactor, Ariadne Vitalis is forced to marry Dionysus, a minotaur who she fears almost as much as she desires him.

In time, Ariadne does what she can to keep her body and head attached and soon is forced to confront her past, present, and the unexpected dangerous pull between her and Dionysus.

The Minotaur, however, believes he is entitled to her as part of a deal with her father and, in the end, Ariadne might risk everything, even Olympus, for what she truly wants.

Katee Robert is the best in the game of steamy, provocative mythology retelling and I’m absolutely sure that this upcoming book will be as wonderful as the rest of her backlog.

There’s something to be said about a forbidden love that tests the boundaries and powers of the leads and something tells me that the chemistry between our leads in this book will be positively electric.

Dark Restraint by Katee Robert will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

19. Queen of Dreams by Kit Rocha.

Queen of Dreams by Kit Rocha

In this scorching fantasy by the authors of Consort of Fire, three lovers with ancient powers unite against a dire threat.

Ash, who waited millennia for a consort to break the Betrayer’s chains, finds himself with two: Sachi and Zanya, embodiments of creation and destruction.

When the Betrayer returns, Zanya starts struggling with her dark magic, while Sachi meets a cruel fate in the Betrayer’s court, when he seeks to seize her latent power.

Queen of Dreams is the second book in this author’s Bound to Fire and Steel series which has even lauded as both thrilling and immersive.

So, this lovely book has occupied prime spot on my TBR since late last year when the first book was released and I’m so eager to see our beloved trio unite to take on the biggest challenge of their lives.

Queen of Dreams by Kit Rocha will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

20. Until The Last Page by Chantal Gadoury.

Until The Last Page by Chantal Gadoury

Twenty-five-year-old Josephine Hart’s fairytale begins with a literal crash landing into a book of fairy tales, which nearly squashes a frog who’s actually a snarky prince named Aneurin.

He promises to help her return home if she helps him in finding his true love and, as they set out together, Jo and Aneurin discover that they might be what each other needs.

But, everything changes when they face a cunning man with a talent for spinning straw into gold who’ll test them for everything they’re worth.

In this book, Josephine is the typical modern lady whose world is tilted when she lands in a fairytale that’s unlike anything she’s ever known and making the most of things leads her on different adventures and she finds love and herself.

This romantasy book is going to be released in August 2024 and I already know that it’s going to be super funny, romantic, and very heartwarming.

Until The Last Page by Chantal Gadoury will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

Best New Paranormal Romance Books To Read In August 2024

21. How to Outwit a Wizard by Amy Boyles.

How to Outwit a Wizard

When Blair Thornrose accidentally swaps magical abilities with her arch-nemesis, Devlin Ross, she faces the nightmare of managing her spellbound life and keeping Devlin from misusing his new powers.

Juggling magical balls and trying to avoid falling for Devlin proves nearly impossible. Can Blair protect her heart and her magic from being lost forever?

Enemies to lovers? Check. Witchy romance? Check. Sizzling chemistry? Double check. This fantastic new book already has me in a chokehold and I’m essentially salivating as I wait for it to be released.

There’s nothing that gets my engine revving as quick as a witchy romance with funny, relatable leads who fall for each other in the sweetest way and that’s exactly what this upcoming romance promises.

How to Outwit a Wizard by Amy Boyles will be released on August 31st and you can order your copy on Amazon.

22. A Werewolf’s Guide to Seducing A Vampire by Sarah Hawley.

A Werewolfs Guide to Seducing A Vampire

Ben Rosewood is a content werewolf and plant shop owner who accidentally binds himself to Eleanora Bettencourt-Devereux, a vengeful vampire succubus, after winning a cursed crystal on eBay.

While Ben is initially thrown off by the sexy yet terrifying vampire, he and Eleanora soon find out they can assist each other with their respective problems—vengeance and personal needs—while making sense of their unexpected connection.

One thing you can always count on a witchy romance book is that the chemistry is off the charts and the spicy is set to boiling limit – Reader, I can’t wait for this book to be released.

A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating A Demon and A Demon’s Guide To Wooing A Witch, which are the previous books in the Glimmer Falls series by this author, are easy faves, so I have very high expectations for this August 2024 new romance book.

A Werewolf’s Guide to Seducing A Vampire by Sarah Hawley will be released on August 13th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

23. Rise and Divine by Lana Harper.

Rise and Divine by Lana Harper

Dasha Avramov, a rare witch with a knack for banishing demons, works at the Arcane Emporium while grieving her parents and battling a dangerous obsession with the afterlife.

When she’s forced to team up with her ex, Ivy Thorn, to plan a festival, old feelings resurface, but the added supernatural threat means they must face their shared history and protect their town from a looming danger.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: a second chance romance book will always, always have my heart and I’m so curious to know why Dasha and Ivy broke up in the first place.

Another reason this August 2024 paranormal romance should be on your reading list is that it’s a sapphic romance and the love between the two of them is fragile yet tenuous and I absolutely can’t wait to get my hand on my copy.

Rise and Divine by Lana Harper will be released on August 20th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

Most Anticipated August 2024 YA Romance Book Releases

24. A Banh Mi for Two by Trinity Nguyen.

A banh mi for two

In this sweet sapphic YA romance set to release in August 2024, Vietnamese American Vivi Huynh travels to Sài Gòn for a study abroad program with plans to understand her parents’ past and indulge in the flavors of her heritage.

There, she meets Lan, who is juggling her responsibilities at her family’s bánh mì stall while struggling to revive her late father’s food blog, A Bánh Mì for Two.

As Vivi and Lan team up—Vivi helping Lan with the blog and Lan guiding Vivi through the city and her family’s history—their bond deepens and a heartfelt romance blooms.

Tastes might change, but I strongly believe that I’ll always be intensely fascinated by books based on culinary delights – In this case, Sài Gòn.

There’s something so remarkably tender about a sapphic YA romance and I have a strong feeling that this book is going to be an absolute roller coaster.

A Banh Mi for Two by Trinity Nguyen will be released on August 20th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

25. Kisses, Codes, and Conspiracies by Abigail Hing Wen.

Kisses codes and Conspiracies by Abigail Hing

Abigail Hing Wen’s latest YA novel follows Tan Lee who finds himself in a whirlwind of chaos when he and his best friend, Winter Woo, are left to babysit Tan’s sister Sana while their parents vacation in Hawaii.

Their situation becomes even more complicated when Tan’s ex-girlfriend arrives with stolen money and dangerous enemies in pursuit.

Soon, Tan must protect his loved ones and balance a high-stakes heist while dealing with international hackers and his own tangled feelings.

The many young adult romance books coming out in August on this list make a strong case for the increasing Asian representation in the romance genre and I am so, so, happy by the lot of them.

That said, Loveboat, Taipei, which is this author’s most popular work, has been adapted for the big screen and I’ll tell you for free that it’s hands-down the most romantic piece you’d ever watch.

Kisses, Codes, and Conspiracies by Abigail Hing Wen will be released on August 13th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

26. The Sticky Note Manifesto of Aisha Agarwal by Ambika Vohra.

The Sticky Note Manifesto of Aisha Agarwal by Ambi

Ambika Vohra’s debut novel follows Aisha Agarwal, a valedictorian focused solely on academics who is thrown off course when her crush stands her up for winter formal.

A chance encounter with Quentin Santos, who arrives late in a battered Volkswagen, leads to an unexpected deal: Aisha will help Quentin pass math if he helps her break out of her shell using a series of daring sticky notes.

As Aisha’s newfound confidence grows, so do complications in her personal life, including falling for the wrong guy and straining friendships.

Now, she struggles to balance her evolving self with the demands of her Stanford application and she must decide if achieving her goals is worth losing herself in the process.

No matter how time passes, I think I will always be down for a coming-of-age story and this upcoming YA romance set to be released in August 2024 has already carved a place in my heart.

Just like me, Aisha is in the transitional phase where she slowly stepping into her new personality, and I am curious to see how she handles the different changes in her life and whether she makes the best choices for herself.

The Sticky Note Manifesto of Aisha Agarwal by Ambika Vohra will be released on August 27th and you can order your copy on Amazon.

27. Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc.

Pumpkin spice and everything nice

In this charming fall-themed novel, sixteen-year-old Lucy Kane wants to save her mom’s coffee shop, Cup o’ Jo, from the competitive threat of Java Junction, a new multinational coffee chain opening across the street.

Lucy, who is unimpressed by the pumpkin spice latte craze and annoyed by its hype, finds herself in an even more complicated situation when she discovers that her secret crush, Jack Harper, is the son of Java Junction’s owner.

As she tries to manage her feelings for Jack and the pressure to save her family’s business, Lucy must find creative ways to keep Cup o’ Jo thriving even with the new competition.

This book reminds me so much of You Can Go Your Own Way. The primary difference is that in this book, she has a crush on him, while in the other book, they were best friends when they were younger but separated when they became teenagers.

I loved You Can Go Your Own Way so much, and I can tell I’m also going to love this one because I always enjoy a sweet and heartwarming rivals-to-romance story, which is essentially the premise of this upcoming young adult romance.

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc will be released on August 6th and you can order your copy on Amazon.
