I’ve been reading a ton of billionaire romance novels lately – some had me swooning nonstop, while others just didn’t click the same way for me.
Here’s a mix of my personal favorites and a few that felt a bit off for me.
1. Marriage of Inconvenience by Penny Reid
I really loved this one. The fake marriage trope combined with secret crushes and family drama was perfect.
Kat and Dan’s slow-burn tension kept me hooked, and their banter had me laughing out loud more than once.
I especially loved the way the story balanced humor with emotional stakes – it made the romance feel real.
2. Tease by Melanie Harlow
This one didn’t grab me quite as much. I liked the fake engagement setup and Hutton’s charm, but the story felt a little predictable at times, and some of the plot beats dragged for me.
That said, the chemistry between the characters was strong, and I appreciated the moments that made me swoon.
3. The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst
Alexa and Nicholas had sizzling chemistry, and the fake marriage was the perfect setup for tension and fun.
I loved how their connection grew naturally, and their vulnerability made me root for them the whole time.
This one kept me turning pages late into the night.
4. On Dublin Street by Samantha Young
This one didn’t resonate with me as much emotionally.
I appreciated Braden’s persistence and Jocelyn’s journey to open up, but the story leaned heavily into angst, which made it feel a bit heavy at times.
Still, the romance is compelling, and I can see why it has so many fans.
5. A Not So Meet Cute by Meghan Quinn
The fake relationship trope was playful and clever, and I adored the way feelings crept in without the characters noticing at first.
Their banter, teasing, and gradual emotional growth kept me smiling through the story. Definitely swoon-worthy.
6. Mating Theory by Skye Warren
This one didn’t click for me the way I hoped.
Sutton’s dark, brooding billionaire vibe is intense, and the story explores heavy emotions.
I enjoyed some of the character development, but the romance felt a little too slow and emotionally distant for my taste.
Still, fans of slow-burn, intense billionaire romance would love it.
7. The Billionaire’s Obsession by J.S. Scott
Really enjoyed this one.
Simon’s alpha yet vulnerable personality drew me in, and Kara’s strength and independence balanced the story perfectly.
The tension between them was electric, and the emotional depth made it feel like more than just a steamy romance.
8. Burn For You by J. T. Geissinger
This one didn’t wow me.
I liked Bianca’s spunky personality, and the fake marriage setup was fun, but Jackson felt over-the-top in his arrogance at times.
Their romance had some sparks, but overall it didn’t feel as grounded or emotionally satisfying for me.
9. Terms and Conditions by Lauren Asher
Iris and Declan’s fake marriage had the right mix of tension, humor, and heartfelt moments.
I loved watching their attraction grow naturally while they tried to keep things business only. Their chemistry had me completely invested.
10. Bad Rep by S.L. Scott
This one didn’t pull me in as much.
I liked the royal twist and the high stakes, but some parts felt melodramatic and overdone for my taste.
That said, the romance itself had some sweet, tender moments that were worth it.
11. Naked by Raine Miller
I loved this one. Ethan is the perfect combination of dominant and protective, and Brynne’s reactions felt very real and relatable.
The emotional intensity between them was high, and I was invested in both their passion and their secrets.
12. The Mogul and The Muscle by Claire Kingsley
This one was a fun read. The bodyguard trope is always a win for me, and the suspense adds an exciting edge.
Cameron and Jude’s chemistry was undeniable, and I loved seeing them navigate danger while falling for each other.
13. The Villain by L.J Shen
I appreciated Persephone’s inner strength, but Cillian’s cold, controlling behavior felt a bit extreme and made it hard for me to fully connect with their romance.
The tension was high, but it was more stressful than swoon-worthy for me.
14. Broken French by Natasha Boyd
The single parent angle plus the yacht setting made this story feel both romantic and a little luxurious.
Xavier is mysterious and protective in all the right ways, and watching their slow-burn romance develop had me completely hooked.
15. The CEO Buys In by Sophie Herkness
This one was cute and heartwarming.
I loved the bonding moments between Chloe and Nathan, but the story didn’t have the same intensity as some of the others.
Still, it was a sweet, enjoyable read that made me smile.
16. Hate Notes by Vi Keeland
Absolutely loved this one.
The vintage love letter plot had me hooked immediately, and the way Charlotte and Reed’s relationship slowly evolved felt authentic.
Their chemistry was playful, sexy, and heartfelt all at once – I laughed, swooned, and rooted for them constantly.
17. Been There Done That by Hope Ellis
Honestly, this one didn’t fully click for me.
Zora and Nick’s second-chance romance had potential, but some of their tension felt a little forced.
I wanted to feel the pull between them more, and the resolution came too easily. Still, Zora’s wit and strength made parts of it enjoyable.
18. A Deal With The Devil by Elizabeth O’Roark
Tali and Hayes’ dynamic was slow-burn perfection.
I enjoyed the way her presence softened him without her losing her independence.
The mix of professional boundaries, teasing, and deepening attraction kept me invested the entire time.
19. The Billionaire’s Challenge by Elizabeth Lennox
Reid and Selena had charm and attraction, but the plot felt predictable, and I didn’t feel the stakes were high enough to make me invested emotionally.
It was still a pleasant read if you like light, easy romance.
20. Scotland or Bust by Kira Archer
Loved this one. Nicole’s impulsive personality and Harrison’s arrogant charm made for a delightful combination.
I laughed a lot at their misunderstandings and loved watching their fake engagement blossom into something real – it felt natural and fun.
21. Boss Man by Vi Keeland
I didn’t connect as much here.
Reese and Chase had sparks, and the boss-employee trope was enjoyable, but parts of their romance felt a bit repetitive.
I liked the witty banter, though, and the ending was satisfying enough.
22. Bad Boy Billionaire by TS Layne
Really enjoyed this one.
Declan’s transformation from a reckless playboy to someone serious about Emmaline was satisfying.
I loved the tension created by his secret identity, and the chemistry between them had me flipping pages nonstop.
23. Managed by Kristen Callihan
Sophie and Gabriel had the potential for fire, but some of the conflicts felt forced and the romance didn’t grab me emotionally.
Still, there were cute moments, and I appreciated the travel and work setting.
24. Savage Tracker by Maggie Cole
The darker, mafia-style romance was thrilling.
Selena and Obrecht’s connection was intense and heated, and the danger surrounding them made their romance addictive. Definitely a book I got lost in.
25. The Summer Proposal by Vi Keeland
This one was a delight.
Georgia and Max’s summer fling felt light, natural, and utterly charming.
I loved their playful interactions and how their feelings grew organically – it gave me all the warm, swoony summer vibes.
26. Damaged Grump by Nicole Snow
Callie and Roland’s enemies-to-lovers tension was fantastic.
Their banter was sharp, flirty, and realistic, and the slow burn made their eventual romance feel earned.
I was fully invested in their story from start to finish.
27. Owen by Melody Anne
This one didn’t quite hit for me.
I liked the idea of Owen coming back into Eden’s life with secrets and danger, but the arson subplot felt heavy, and I wanted the romance to have more lightness to balance the suspense.
Still, it had its emotional moments.
28. Perfect by Elizabeth SaFleur
Loved this one. The mix of past trauma, danger, and slow-burning romance made it captivating.
Marcos’s protective yet tender personality and Isabella’s emotional journey kept me completely engaged. Definitely a swoon-worthy pick.
29. Undercover Billionaire by Ainsley Booth
Jake’s undercover plot added a clever twist, and watching Jane’s crush slowly develop into something real was satisfying.
The tension of hiding his identity made the romance exciting, and the chemistry was undeniable.
30. Daddy by Katy Kaylee
This one didn’t fully resonate with me.
Bev and Fitz’s age-gap romance was interesting, and the pregnancy plot raised the stakes, but some of their dialogue felt forced, and I didn’t connect deeply with the emotional side of their relationship.
The steamy parts were well done, though.
31. Pressing Romance by Lexy Timms
Anthony and Rose’s story combined romance with mystery so well.
Their grief and personal growth added depth, and the steamy, tender moments were perfectly balanced.
It kept me engaged from start to finish.
32. Single Daddy Billionaire by Lexi Banks
The single dad trope is one of my favorites, and watching Morgan and the billionaire navigate family, romance, and unexpected parenting was heartwarming.
Their chemistry was genuine and full of emotion.
33. The Billionaire’s Price by Ansela Corsino
Victoria and Sebastian’s slow-burn romance felt realistic and engaging.
The combination of office tension, family dynamics, and their growing attraction kept me hooked – I couldn’t put it down.
34. Virgin For Sale by Cassandra Dee
This one didn’t work for me as well.
The auction premise was bold and unique, and Andrew was charming, but I didn’t connect with Annie’s emotional journey.
Their romance had heat, but the emotional depth felt lacking.
35. Accidentally Married To The Billionaire by Sierra Rose
Brandon and Marjorie’s fake marriage had perfect tension, humor, and romance.
Their witty banter and growing attraction felt natural, and the mix of family stakes with their chemistry made this one a page-turner I finished smiling.
And that’s my take on some of the best billionaire romance novels out there.
From steamy fake marriages to slow-burn second chances, there’s a little something for every mood.
