I know I’m not the only one who read Neon Gods and was absolutely enthralled.
For the longest time, I’ve been obsessed with Greek mythology and nothing (I mean, nothing!) could have stopped me from reading this lovely Hades & Persephone retelling.
I loved every bit of it, and if there’s something in particular that made my time spent worth it, it was the romance that was dark in the best way possible.
This might sound super vague, but dark fantasy romance novels literally feature the most morally grey characters doing entirely questionable things.
The romance in these books could very well be described as toxic and, trust me, you’re going to be hooked from start to finish.
So, if you’ve been looking for new-ish dark fantasy romance books to sink your teeth into, I’ve got you covered — Here are 15 perfect recs you won’t regret reading.

3. A Ruin of Roses
